IQF Berries Sorting and Quality Control
At Qcify, we're entering the IQF berry market the same way we built our reputation in tree nuts: application first, with solutions that connect across your line and give you real control over what leaves your facility.
New Market
Application-Focused Performance
Qcify is entering the IQF berry market the same way we built our reputation in tree nuts: application first. Dedicated teams training models on real frozen berry defects, machines adapted for cold processing conditions, and an ecosystem of solutions that connect across your line — from the Qcify AIR for inline optical sorting and the Qcify EYE for end-of-line defect removal, to the Qcify HUB for centralized data and the Qcify RAY for inline monitoring.
IQF berries are demanding: frozen, fragile, high-throughput, and full of defects that traditional sorters consistently miss. Our solutions are built to catch them — shift after shift, without an operator, without product breakage.
Ten years of application-first experience in tree nut processing. The same depth of knowledge, the same methodology — now built for IQF berries.
Maket Entry
A Proven Approach
Our first IQF berry installation is live at Berry Packing Services — and it's just the start. We're entering this market the same way we entered tree nuts: application first. Dedicated teams. Models trained on real frozen berry defects. Machines built for cold processing conditions.
Because IQF berries aren't just another application. Frozen product, variable shape, high throughput, and defects traditional optical sorting misses — skin damage, mold, collapsed fruit, stalks, foreign material. Shift after shift, without compromise.
IQF Berry Sorting
The Qcify AIR is confirmed for IQF berry sorting. Double-sided 4K detection, 6mm pitch airguns for precise ejection, and a mechanical setup specifically adapted for frozen product — rigidized electromagnetic infeed shaker, extended low-impact accept chute, 65 cm drop height. It runs without an operator and connects to Qdashboard for full remote visibility.
